Why people ornament themselves?

Why do people ornament themselves? For beautiful face? Or style? I think there are many reasons. People always make up their face and get dressed. Still then it's not problem. But the problem is that the processing to get there is so complex. For make up, women have to put about 10 cosmetics on their face all. It's really hard work to do. But if you are a woman, you also put cosmetics on your face to become more beautiful. Even I do this every morning. But, think about it for a minute. Do you get more beautiful just by putting on your face? I don't think so. We make up to be confident. For example, I take pride of my actions in making up my face rather than just my own face. When I don't wear make up face, I can't hold my head up. Like this, women always decorate themselves. But now, I regret my attitude just depend on make up. How about read some books, or listen to music, go for a walk rather than make up face in the morning.
